Quality of life information is important to Virginia's economic growth. Locations and proximity information of colleges/universities may be used in conjunction with other quality of life data to create information packages for use in economic development.

Purpose:

The purpose of this data is to provide a geographic representation of the location of each liberal arts college/university, community college, business school, technical school, graduate school, or speciality school in Virginia which has been accredited by the state for use in economic growth and demographic studies.
